Will Happiness Lead to Business Success?

Once in awhile I see something that I just have to share.  This is one of those times.  I sat down to watch this TED talk

and found myself filling my page with notes.  So much thought-provoking and life-changing information.  I hope you enjoy it too!

Life is Hard…Right?

I’m inviting you, my hard-working friend, to take a break from the stress and anxiety of your life
for a moment and breath deeply.  Repeat this statement…”Life is hard.” How true does it feel to you?
Most of us were raised in hard-working families and communities who taught us this belief.

But is it really true?  Can building a business be enjoyable and (gasp!) easy?

This is the topic we talked about in our Business Summer Camp last week.  We considered what
it would be like to really believe that growing a business could be easy.   How would that change things
for you?  What would be the downsides of believing life was easy?

One of the fears that came up for our class members was the fear that if they believed growing
a business was fun and easy they would be lazy.  They see themselves laying around on the couch
napping and watching TV as their bank accounts shrink and the bills pile up.

Maybe this is a fear you have as well. So let’s take a few minutes to tap on this fear and perhaps
allow you a glimmer more fun and joy in your business!

Karate Chop:

Even though I’m afraid to let go of the belief that life is hard I love and accept myself anyway.
Even though I’m afraid I will get lazy and unmotivated if I don’t have the stress this belief causes I accept myself.
Even though I think way deep down that I am lazy and need this belief.  I love myself anyway.

Eyebrow:  Life is hard and growing a business is too.
Side of Eye;  That’s what I always hear.
Under Eye:  Everyone says it takes, “Blood, sweat and tears.”
Under Nose:  I need this stress and pressure to keep going.
Chin Po int:  I’m secretly lazy.
Collar Bone: People admire you if you work hard.
Under Arm:  Life is hard.
Top of Head:  That’s just how it is.

Positive Round:  (Move to this round when you are below a 4 on a intensity level of 1-10)

Eyebrow:  Part of me really wants to believe that growing a business is fun and easy.
Side of Eye:  I often get a lot done when I am in a relaxed, creative state of mind.
Under Eye:  I love feeling joyful and creative.
Under Nose:  I love feeling “in the flow.”
Chin Point:  Maybe I can allow more magic and joy in my business!
Under Arm:  There are a lot of actions that I take in my business that are fun.
Top of Head: Growing a business is fun and easy!

Take a deep breath!  Are you ready to experiment with this new way of living?
Mary and I would like to hear your comments and experiences as you play with this
new idea that “Life is Easy.”  Feel free to comment!
Also, it is not too late to join our Business Summer Camp! We’d love to have you be a part of the
fun!  Find out more here http://www.unstoppableyouintensive.com/events/summer-camp

How to Be Happy Now!

Are you waiting to feel happy?  I bet that if you
really took a look at it you would find that most
people have a list of “things” that have to happen before
they can feel happy.
When I lose those last 10 pounds…
When my business takes off…
When I find that special person…

Wait no more!!  Can you imagine being happy NOW, before the
weight comes off, before your business is a success, before you
have anyone special in your life? What if you could!?

I love this tap-along because it’s something
that I work at on a regular basis not only
with clients, but in my own life.

Check it out…tap along…then let me know your
thoughts!!

Are You Ready to Tap Into Your Better Business?

Freedom from Guilt

Imagine for a minute…You begin your workday, focused on what you want to accomplish .  Then the phone rings, it’s your mom who is having health issues and wants you to research something for her.  A few minutes later one of your children texts you and asks you to pick up something for them and by the way they’re bored.  Does this sound a bit like your day?  Pulled in a hundred directions, knowing full well that you’ll never get it all done.  Feeling guilty because you want to do it all…be a good parent, a loving friend and have a successful business.

My wish for you is that you experience the freedom to release the guilt and begin living and enjoying the present moment.  In our Business Summer Camp last week we talked about this issue and what blocks us from letting go of the guilt and loving NOW.  Here’s one of the issues we tapped about and a tapping script just for you today…

Issue:

“Other people seem to be able to do everything. What’s wrong with me?”

Karate Chop:

Even though it seems like others can do everything, I can’t get it all done and I love and accept myself anyway.

Even though I feel guilty because I can’t get it all done I accept my feelings

Even though something must be wrong with me I love and accept myself anyway.

Eyebrow:  I can’t get it all done.
Side of Eye:  I’m too scattered and tired.
Under Eye:  I should be more organized.
Under Nose:  I should be a better parent.
Chin Point:  I should do more in my business.
Collar Bone:  I should have a clean house, yard, garage.
Under Arm:  It’s all so exhausting and I can’t keep up.
Top of Head:  I feel guilty for not keeping up.

Positive Round:

Eyebrow:  Maybe I am perfect the way I am.
Side of Eye:  Perhaps I can try to let go of some of this pressure and guilt.
Under Eye:  If I do that maybe I’ll have more energy for what I want to do.
Under Nose:  What is one thing I can do today that would feel wonderful?
Chin Point: How can I enjoy right now?
Collar Bone:  I choose to focus and enjoy each action step I take today.
Top of Head:  I love releasing guilt and embracing joy!

Do You Have the Summertime Blues?

We are just a few days from the official start of summer and I’ve already
got a major case of the “I don’t want to work…it’s summer” blues going on.
How about you?

Well no worries, I just did a bit of tapping, add a little attitude adjustment,
and I got a bit of what needed done-done and I still had time to play!!
That’s a win-win

Now you give it a go:

Until next time, Stay Unstoppable!

Start Feeling Peaceful Now!

Have you ever noticed that there are times,
when you find yourself wound up tight as a
top? I know when I get that way it’s so
uncomfortable that you can’t even stand
being in your body!!!

Here’s a tapping for exactly that!

Tap along with this anytime you find yourself
overwhelmed and lost. Tapping during those
times re-trains your body to get out of
fight-or-flight, and allows it to
recalibrate back to peace.

Until next time…stay UNstoppable!

Who’s Up for a Little Challenge?

Anyone else got this going on…
I had a great summer enjoying the sun and fun and
now that fall is here I’ve noticed that I’ve fallen
behind on a few of my goals.

Ok! The truth is I have a couple of things on my goal
list that I haven’t even touched!
No worries though!!  I have this little game I play
with myself (and my coachee’s)that will keeps me, and
you, on track.

It’s the 90 Day Challenge 😀

Hey, I’m all into taking action and this little
challenge will leave you feeling GOOD about
yourself AND you get to start a new (and
more empowering) habit.

I made a little audio telling you all about it
PLUS I’ve got some tapping in there to help
with the “yes, but…” that are sure to come
up.

Check it out!
